Remote Session Information:

In order to appreciate how a remote session works, we have to understand that everything is energy and that energy travels; it is not constrained by physical space or time. Just because it cannot be seen, does not mean it is not real. We cannot see electricity, yet can turn on lights at will. Reiki is like turning on the light of healing that exists in all of us. 

How it works:

A Remote session will consist of an initial discussion by phone, Zoom or email regarding any concerns, issues to be addressed or questions. 

During the remote session, we begin by doing energy work together on Zoom based on the issues that are being worked on directing our focus to the point of origin causing these issues.  This may include energetic cord removal, clearing the energy of past trauma and troubled relationships, releasing blocked emotions, removing the energy of painful memories, inner child work, and restoring lost energy. I also offer a Healing Attunement which is an influx of healing energy. We will work for a time incorporating various energy techniques into the session. 

Following the Zoom meeting, the client is asked to lie down in a quiet place where they will not be disturbed. I provide suggestions on soothing music to listen to or the client can choose their own instrumental music. It can be helpful to drape a cloth over your eyes or be in a darkened room.  During this portion of the session, I focus on sending the healing energy of Reiki to the client through intention and the use of techniques I have practiced including visualization, symbols, and crystals.  I always begin by stating intentions that serve the highest well-being of the client.   I end the session with affirmations and gratitude while sealing and clearing the energy. 

I reconnect with the client when the session is ending and am available for questions or feedback at this time or at a later date; most people prefer to relax directly following a session. The client should sit quietly for a few minutes to acclimate themselves before standing, drink a little water and make sure to follow up by drinking extra water later that day and the next. It is helpful to stay hydrated and to be as restful as possible.

The session will begin with a discussion about the process and the chance for a client to ask any questions they may have. I ask the client what they would like to focus on and what their intentions are for the session.  

We begin by doing energy work together based on the issues that are being worked on and we direct our work to the point of origin causing the issues. This may include energetic cord removal, clearing the energy of past trauma, removing the energy of painful memories, releasing blocked emotions, inner child work, and restoring lost energy. I also offer a Healing Attunement which in an influx of healing energy. We will work together for a time incorporating various energy techniques into the beginning of the session. 

After working together, the client will lay on a massage table or sit in a comfortable chair, fully clothed, with shoes off. Soothing music is played and the lights are low. At the start of the session, I place my hands a few inches above the body. I stand behind the client and work on the areas around the head  and neck, proceeding to shoulders and the center of the body and then to the legs and feet. I may be guided to remain longer on a specific area of the body. I end by focusing on the feet to ground the client’s energy and cleanse the auras before rising. 

The client should sit quietly for a few minutes to acclimate themselves before standing and can use this time to ask questions or provide feedback. 20 minute: $50 

Providing Reiki for animals differs as animals experience energy at a stronger frequency and typically require shorter sessions. During a Remote Animal Reiki session, I will text the caretaker when I am starting and ending which takes approximately 20 minutes. During that time, the animal is free to do what they choose. I will keep in contact with the caretaker by text or email to share what the animal is experiencing during the session.
